Happy Shavuot from Israel Property Care and the IPC Vacation Rentals Team.

Wishing our clients and friends a Happy Shavuot. Enjoy the Cheesecake.

During the upcoming holiday of Shavuot, we read the Book of Ruth. Ruth was always searching for food for herself and her elderly mother in-law Naomi, and would glean the fields looking for their next meal. She did this despite Naomi’s attempts to persuade her to return to her family and homeland. Trying to walk in Ruth’s footsteps, Leket Israel is standing beside those in need in Israel. Serving as Israel’s National Food Bank and largest food rescue network, Leket Israel works every day to help individuals in the same predicament as Ruth and Naomi. They are making a difference to the lives of 140,000 needy Israelis each week.

Would you like to volunteer your time and talent with Leket Israel for the benefit of Israel’s needy? Endless opportunities for community service and volunteer work await you during your time in Israel, from making healthy and nutritious sandwiches for needy school children, to gleaning fields and orchards, to rescuing excess meals. These are among the many activities you can read about here. http://leket.org.il/english/text/309.aspx – sign up and make a difference.
