Netanya Municipality invites photography lovers to a tour where they can click away and taste the flavors of the Netanya market.

The Netanya market is one of the most vibrant and colorful markets in Israel.
When? Friday, February 10, 2017, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Meeting point: Heychal Hatarbut, 4 Raziel St., at 9:45 a.m. sharp.
Who can participate? Everyone! People with SLR cameras, pseudo-SLR camera and even smartphones…
Cost is just NIS 20.

Due to last year’s success, Netanya Municipality is holding the Urban Nature Photography Contest again this year.
If you would like to participate, take a photo of nature in Netanya, such as the city’s promenades, beaches, the Iris Reserve, Winter Lake, Oak Forest, public parks and more, and post it on the special competition website at www.netanya.muni.il/photo_competition
From: February 1 – April 20, 2017 by 4:00 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners in each category, at total value of NIS 3,000.
The winners will be invited to an award ceremony and to an exhibition of selected photos.

On Tuesday, February 07, 2017, at 10:05 AM, a Siren System Test will be conducted in the Sharon Region, including Netanya.
During the test an oscillating siren will sound.
In case of a real alert, an additional siren will sound thereafter.
