Blankets of red Anemones ‘down south’

Highly recommend by our friends at Love Love Israel : loveloveisrael.com

Throughout February 2018 the northern area of the Negev has a plethora of stunning red Anemone flowers and is therefore aptly named ‘Darom Adom – Red South’.  The whole area is wonderful for hiking, picnic-ing and of course, admiring the beautiful Anemones –  also known as Calaniot – the national flower of Israel.

There are many free activities, and special emphasis this year will be on Israel’s 70th Birthday with historical tours in the area.  For more information visit their website –  www.habsor.co.il
