We have reached the moment of truth, a critical time for every citizen and resident of the Sharon area!
Preserving Poleg Beach and nature reserves for the benefit of the public.
Please take two minutes of your time and join the important struggle!

Stop the conversion of the natural and pristine Poleg Beach into a tycoon complex and a construction plan promoted by the Netanya Municipality that includes the construction of six hotels, banquet halls and hundreds of businesses (13,500 square meters for commerce) and eliminate accessible public parking on the beach.

Demonstration 11 December 2020 13:00

A demonstration is to be held by residents of Netanya in the vicinity of the mayor’s building this Friday (11th December) at 13.00. This demonstration will be about all problematical issues in particular those affecting detrimentally the environment in our city. We will be there to protest the hotel and Poleg Beach proposals.

The SPNI and Zlul and the Green Course are supporting and will be with us at the demonstration

NOW is the time to make our voices heard. If we don’t stand up for our beaches and nature we won’t have access it to it once the hotels/marina etc are built. I hope that you will consider coming to the protest and if you don’t feel comfortable to do that in the shadow of Covid-19 then please consider donating to the campaign.

World’s Biggest Beach Clean Up

Join us for a first of its kind event – A countrywide beach clean-up from the south to the north. Our goal is to reach every single beach in Israel at the same time and leave no beach behind- LEAVE NO TRACE!

The plastic pollution is no longer a problem we can ignore, its damages are felt and seen, and it is threatening the sea and biodiversity. Let’s unite for this cause and break a world record that has never been seen before! The future is here, and it is time to wake up so our next generations could enjoy clean beaches.

SOHO in Netanya opening of art exhibition Friday, January 24, 11 a.m.

A collaboration between the Cultural Center Association, the management of the Center for Home Design – SOHO, and the Netanya Artists’ Association will introduce cultural and artistic activities to the commercial center.

Art is an integral part of home and office design. Cultural-artistic activity will enrich the shopping experience at the center, adding to it movement, emotion and color.

Netanya Artists Association is pleased to open a pop-up exhibition as is customary in Tel Aviv. The former “Shefa Teva” store will become a temporary gallery where paintings, photography, sculpture and more will be displayed.

A festive opening of the exhibition will be held on Friday, January 24, 11 a.m.

The public is welcome!

The Soho complex is located in the southern industrial area of Netanya (“Sapir”), adjacent to Ikea to the north.
The gallery is opposite the “Tiv-Taam” parking complex, across the road.
