IKEA Netanya Run the Beach, April 5
You are invited to join in the fun and/or watch participants during the annual Netanya Beach (and part of the city) Run. Separate events: Half-marathon, 10 km, 5 km and 2 km.
For your information, please note that the following roads will be closed between 05:30 and 10:00
- Ben-Gurion Blvd. to the south – the section between “Shore” Square (Carmel Hotel) and Uzi Hitman Street.
- The entire length of Oved Ben Ami Boulevard in both directions
- Uzi Hitman and Ehud Manor in both directions – from Ben Gurion Boulevard to Shosh Atari Street.
- Shosh Atari Street and the paved road to Poleg Beach – in both directions.
- The upper and lower parking area of Lagoon Beach (Argaman) from Ben-Ami Avenue – in both directions.

- Please refrain from parking along the race routes from Thursday 4 April from 19:00 until Friday 5 April at 10:30.
- Blocking the streets will be complete and no vehicles will be allowed at all, including vehicles belonging to residents of these streets and work vehicles.
- The residents of Zalman Shazar and Halilach streets will be able to exit to Ehud Manor Street, in accordance with directions of the inspectors and signs.
- The residents of Kehillat Tzfat, Pierre Koenig, HaTehila, HaKabbalah, HaZohar: From these streets, it will not be possible enter Ben-Gurion Boulevard and Ben-Ami Boulevard in any direction. If you wish to leave from these streets during the race, you will have to park the day before in the parking lot at Planetanya, as to drive on Ben Gurion Boulevard to the north will be not possible.
- You are requested not to drive to the streets mentioned above but use alternate roads, and please obey the instructions of the policemen, the inspectors and the ushers at the site.
- Due to the closures in the area, changes in public transport routes are expected to be updated. Please check the “Kav-Kav” center at 8787* at bus.gov.il or in the navigation applications on public transport.
