Netanya hosts Children’s Olympics on Sunday 14th May, 2017

Netanya is proud to host this year’s Children’s Olympics on Sunday 14th May, 2017.

The Children’s Olympics is a one-day festive event held on Lag Ba’Omer, with the cooperation of the managers of the sports departments in the various towns, with the host city changing from year to year.

Most of the children participating in the children’s games are from the seventh to the ninth grades.

All the children participating in the children’s Olympics represent their city.

The goals and guidelines for a nationwide event in which many children from different cities participate in many sports are:

Creating a sporting experience that emphasizes the values ​​of fairness in sports, mutual respect and the maintenance of proper behavior.

Creating a sporty, friendly meeting, getting to know students from other cities and enjoying.

Fundraising for a sporting and educational event with values.
