Renovation of Herzl Street

Update from the Netanya Municipality
Netanya Municipality, through Halat (Netanya Development and tourism Company), the City Center Administration and Mei Netanya announce the continuation of the project to upgrade Herzl Street and turn it into Israel’s first street mall:
An innovative, young and fresh street, with a variety of activities and a young look, for the benefit of the business owners, city residents and guests.

The work will begin in the first week of January 2017 an will include redoing infrastructures, moving trees and upgrading the facades of businesses.

The work will be performed in subsegments:
The first segment: Upgrading the southern sidewalk, between Dizengoff and Smilansky Streets
Parking in that segment will be prohibited
Herzl Street will remain open to two-way traffic
Please follow the instructions of the officers on site.
